Player Development Clinics

BASA is committed to further developing our young athletes skills by offering off-season training beginning early in 2023.

The clinics are designed for House League and Select players of all skill levels who will be playing in the Mite (U10), Squirt (U12), Novice (U14) , Bantam (U16) and Midget divisions to help them improve their technical ability and in-game performance.

2023 WINTER SKILLS CLINIC

BASA is offering a 12 week Winter training program beginning January 2023.

This training camp will be run by the BASA select coaches and will work on further player development. This training will prepare players for the select tryouts in April and the regular softball season.

When: Saturday Evenings

Training will run from January 14 - April 15 (No training March 11 or 18)

Time: 6pm -7pm Mite and Squirt
7pm- 8pm Novice, Bantam and Midget

Where – Fieldhouse Athletics@ 5230 Harvester Rd, Burlington ON L7L4X4

Cost – $240 per player (Includes a t-shirt)

Bring – Glove, indoor running shoes, bat and workout clothes.

Once registration is complete please make payment via etransfer to basaexec.treasurer@gmail.com. Payment MUST have the players name in the message box. You will not be considered fully registered until we have received payment in full.

2023 Pitching Clinic

BASA Pitching clinics are open to all BASA members. Clinics are run by our own pitching coaches Adam, Tim and Victoria

Location - Glad Tidings Church Gym

Monday evenings

Dates: Jan - 16, 23, 30

Feb 6, 13, 27

March 6, 20, 27

April 3,10

Fee: $120 per player

Mite - 6-7pm Max 9 pitchers

Squirt- 7-8pm Max 8 pitchers

Novice, Bantam, Midget - 8-9 pm. Max 8 pitchers

All pitchers must bring a catcher each night. Catchers must be capable catchers.

Note - Due to limited space and cost there will be no refunds for canceling
