Sherwood Dome #2 is located at 5270 Fairview Street.

For all U21 players, tryouts will be announced at a later date. Please register if you’re interested.

Registration is required prior to tryouts and only registered BASA House League players may participate in the Select Program.  To register for the Select Program tryout or for more information , please click HERE.   

Coaches needed 

We are looking for a coach for the U11 select team If you wish to put your name forward to coach the U11 Mite Select team or if you have any questions regarding the Select Program, please contact the Select Directors at basa.select@gmail.com for further information.

The BMFL is a co-ed league, open to all players ages 18 and older.  (Ages 16 & 17 allowed if players have past experience and a parent is playing as well). Cost is $190 per player. This is not a windmill style pitching League. Pitching is an underhand motion but still quick. Click the link above for more information.

BASA HOUSE RULES

It is mandatory that all infielders wear a fielders mask. This will be for ages 10 and older (divisions: mite, squirt, novice, bantam and midget)  NO EXCEPTIONS  It’s not mandatory for outfielders but highly recommended.

All batters MUST have a cage on their helmet ages 10 and older.

UMPIRES WANTED

BASA is looking for more Umpires for the 2024 Season.  No prior experience is needed.  BASA and Softball Ontario offers free training to those interested.   1 Day training course will be held in the Spring.  BASA covers all costs for training, shirt, hat and protective equipment.  More info can be found here.

BASA is also looking for an Umpire Coordinator for the 2024 Season.  If you are interested, please contact Kent Barber.
