Select is a team that players tryout for in April.  Tryouts are open to all registered female players and  coaches pick the 12/13 best players in that age group for the team.

Select teams are tournament teams for female players that want to play a higher level of ball.

Teams usually play 4 weekend (1 day) tournaments throughout the summer. Some teams choose to play more.  Teams play for medals at each tournament with the main goal of winning the provincial  tournament in August.

There is an additional fee for players that make the select team. This fee covers an extra practice every week. a select jersey and tournament fees.
